Hi. I’m Dave, I‘m a regular sized cupcake.
Here’s some answers to some popular questions that I’m asked, every now and again.
Q. Can you fit into a 6cm / 2.4inch divider? A. Yes, providing I was baked on a regular cupcake tray with a 4.5cm base.
Q. How big is a mini cupcake divider? A. Well it’s too small for me, simply because it’s 3.5cm in diameter, the width across the hole.
Q. Do you ever get scared when the lid gets closed, and fear that your head may get squashed? A. No way, people make me small enough to fit into the 7.5cm / 3inch high boxes.
Q. Have I ever travelled in a box next to a muffin? A. Many times, looks a bit of a tighter squeeze for them than us cupcakes though.
Q. What, would you say, is the difference between the corrugated boxes and the popup boxes? A. Corrugated boxes are 2ply corrugated cardboard. They’re sturdier and stackable ideal for long journeys. Popup boxes look great but are primarily used for display and gifts.
Q. Have you ever seen any other cupcakes inside a box who shouldn't have been in there? A. Yeah, this guy....He's got far too much topping on his head.
